The tapestry panel designed as a floral band, woven in wool and silk in shades of green, blue, umber, ochre and rust, set between panels of natural pomegranate-dyed cotton velvet, backed with naturally dyed 19th century chestnut-coloured linen, filled with pure British wool, sewn closed.
Provenance: Knights Hall, Winkfield, Berkshire.
