Probably made for a casket or book cover, worked in coloured silks, metallic threads, and coloured metal purl on a satin ground, depicting the figure of Prudence within an oval cartouche, foliate fleur de lys to the four corners, silk mount, bird's eye maple frame, glazed, dimensions of embroidery only 11.8 cm high, 8.5cm wide
