A loom width section woven with a woollen pile, in shades of green, brown and red, on a linen ground with natural linen highlights, the design reminiscent of the late 14th century, with a repeating wavy-banded pattern of a bird with foliate sprig on a flowering branch, conservation mounted, selvedges present beneath overlay mount, museum glazed, framed, panel only dimensions: height 20.7cm, width 51.4cm
