Carved with a coat of arms designed with two lion passants dexter and one lion rampant sinister, flanked by stiff-leaf acanthus palmettes. Probably an impalement of the le Strange and Fitzalan arms, likely representing the 1352 marriage of Mary Fitzalan (1325-1396), daughter of the then Earl of Arundel, to John le Strange (1332-1361), Baron Blackmere.
Provenance: possibly Fitzalan Chapel, Arundel Castle, Arundel, West Sussex.
