An impressive carved oak Royal Coat of Arms of Great Britain, circa 1840

Well-carved in high relief, the arms: first and fourth quarters England's three lions passant guardant; second quarter Scotland's lion rampant; third quarter Ireland's harp, surrounded by the Order of The Garter, supporters a lion dexter and a gorged unicorn sinister, topped by a helmet with mantling, the additional crest of a carved lion moved to each top corner, below the shield are thistles, roses and shamrocks, along with the motto 'Dieu et Mon Droit' (God and My Right)
