A rare Elizabeth I walnut, fruitwood and oak table cabinet, circa 1600

The hinged top with chamfered edge enclosing a well, with geometric mitre-moulded applied frieze, the lockable fall-front again with applied mouldings in the form of paired arcade reserves, opening to reveal seven small drawers and one secret drawer.
