Worked with coloured glass and ceramic beads to depict an allegorical figure of the sense of smell: a fine lady with a flower, surrounded by various flora and fauna, heraldic beasts, namely leopard, unicorn, stag and lion to each of the four corners, within a good 19th century ripple-moulded ebonised frame, overall framed size 42cm high, 52.5cm wide.
