In the late 16th century English manner, designed with two putti, their outstretched arms supporting leafy-scrolls and harebells, beneath fruits and flowers, framed.
Provenance: A handwritten paper label verso reads 'this is a section of embossed leather panel overpainted in oil (in new frame) came from (sic) the famous Faringdon House home of (The Mad Boy) Robert Heber Percy...'
