St George in armour with open visor and sword drawn, on horseback, rearing up over the defeated scaly dragon, charming princess with tethered sheep to the top left, a flautist angel to the top right.
The pictorial source for this scene would have been a European print similar to that shown - Daniel Hopfer, German (c.1470-1536), Rosenwald Collection.
