A set of three Henry VIII carved oak panels, circa 1520

REF: 4763

Each centred by a cartouche within a leaf-and-bud wreath, topped by and over leafy-sprays, two cartouches centred by five tied arrows, the other with a pair of bows

Interestingly the bundle of arrows is a badge dating to the union of Spain's monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon (1452-1516) and Isabella I of Castile (1469-1504), the parents of Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's first wife
